Jewish Leadership Council

Objective 

The PR Office was brought on board to work with the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) to form a press office and generate a consistent media presence. The key objectives were:

  • Increase the JLC’s ability to engage with Jewish and national media
  • Raise the profile of the JLC’s lay and professional leadership within both Jewish and national media
  • Position the JLC and its leadership as authoritative, credible spokespeople and thought leaders, both within and outside the community

Implementation

We create awareness of the JLC through strong, regular announcements and thought leadership. This often includes capitalising on current and relevant news topics to keep JLC front of mind with our target audiences, strategic set pieces to showcase JLC’s strengths, mission and values and developing Simon Johnson, Chief Executive, as a key voice and the ‘go to’ commentator in the mainstream media.


Results

Between 01 August 2015 – July 2016, 1062  pieces of coverage were achieved an uplift of approximately 400% on the previous year (250 pieces of coverage).

Comments and articles were featured by leading national media outlets including Sky News, Daily Telegraph, The Express, The Mirror, The Daily Mail, BBC Radio 2 and The Huffington Post.

We also built a substantial presence in Jewish, regional and Israeli media.
