MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR EVER FOR UK JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL

The UK Jewish Film Festival has had its most successful year ever. Over the course of the two week festival in London, almost 10,000 people attended festival screenings – a 30% increase on the 2006 audience figures.

This huge growth in audience numbers is a reflection of the exciting and varied programme the UKJFF presents and the number of locations the festival works with throughout the two week event. This year 43 films were screened at 11 cinemas across London. As well as the festival’s ‘base’ at The Screen on the Hill, screenings took place at the ICA, SOAS, The Richmond Odeon, the Odeon Swiss Cottage, The Reel Borehamwood, The Everyman Hampstead, and The Odeon South Woodford.
